![]() ![]() My complaint was we pay the same price as every other member but we don’t get a lot of the perks other members do like same day delivery and grocery delivery, so the least they could do is come and pickup our returns. We live in a rural area, and we aren’t close to drop-off locations like other people in more populated areas. They used to have an option for UPS to come and retrieve the package for free, but now they charge for it. It started when they quit offering the pickup return package option when I needed to return an item. I have been having issues with Amazon Prime for a while now. ![]() I wish this lawsuit was open to Indiana residents. Now I’m being charged for 2 prime memberships and the only option is to cancel one of my credit cards. I’m also in a situation now where I got locked out of my Amazon account, was advised by Amazon that they could not restore the account because a previous Amazon associate I spoke with deleted the account and was told that once an account was deleted it was gone forever ( I call BS, anyone ever hear of backing up data when you are the supplier of one of the world largest data warehousing and companies?). Honestly, I think this should be in conjunction with a lawsuit against UPS as that is where i experience most of my delivery timing problems with Amazon orders. I’ve also had this happen with my PillPack (by Amazon) orders where my anti-seizure medication arrived 2 days late and ended up having to switch back to a local pharmacy. Not only is it true but it’s a gross understatement of what actually happens, especially when it’s marked as a Prime item but not fulfilled by Amazon. ![]() I would like to become apart of the class action suit but would also like to know where I can file a suit against them for charging my other accounts without permission. I wonder if others have had the same problem? I guess they believe they are so big they can push their weight around. I knew there was no sense in disputing it when I found out it was them so I had to let it go but the more I have thought about it the more I believe it should be, if it is not, illegal. And to go through all the cards you have on file until they get their money has just got to be a crime. They never notify you that your Membership is up for renewal. So I investigated it more thoroughly this time to find out it was Amazon who was charging me for my Prime Membership. I had received fraud notifications on all the other cards but not the 4th one. After going through those three cards and being denied, they finally got their money through the 4th. I had no idea it was them because apparently the membership fee increased and they also charged tax which made it come out to an odd amount so I thought it was fraud. They recently went through 3 of my other cards. ![]() Another thing they have done, which I don’t know if it is illegal or not but it should be, is when it comes time to renew my prime membership, they of course try to charge my Amazon Prime card but if there is not enough money on that card, they go through another card without my permission. I rarely receive my items in the two day time frame. There are no snow storms, flooding, earthquakes or oil spills from Illinois to wisconsin and please don’t blame the pandemic! UGH, I am so irritated, just tell me the truth either you can deliver it on time or not. I told him to pick it up from my house and they said there would be 7.99 deducted from my refund. They offered for me to return the item but I would have to go to whole foods or ups to return. This is the second phone call for this same issue, the first was on the 25th, and today, the 28th. Well, the confirming email I received about an hour later from the initial order said there would be a delay but nowhere did it allow me a chance to cancel order. I promise I was civil and did not call names or yell, but they were like robots telling me that there are delays they cannot control. I just spent 41 minutes on the phone today with Amazon Corporate, who ended up being Costa Rica trying to explain about bait and switch or false advertising and they ended up disconnecting me. ![]()
